The Ground Work Trust:
Sunday 28th May, See Times Below
Matt Machouki from The Groundwork Trust will lead four one-hour long workshops devised by Artecology and The Groundwork Trust.
Matt will talk about the work that The Groundwork Trust has been doing in terms of creating intertidal habitats at the Tees and Esk estuaries and how this work can be expanded to Scarborough and beyond. You will then get the opportunity to see a demonstration of sand-casting - one of the techniques used by Artecology - and then you will make a bio-receptive tile or bowl using this technique within the workshop.
There will be four identical workshops during the day: 10.00am to 11am; 11.30am to 12.30pm; 1.30pm to 2.30pm; 3.00pm to 4pm.
There will be a maximum of 10 people per workshop. Suitable for all ages; all children must be accompanied by an adult.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ATTENDEES MUST BOOK A TICKET - CHILDREN AND GUARDIANS. CHILDREN MUST NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED*
